It's going to be one of those weekends.
The Cassada side of the family is headed down to Atlanta and we're all meeting up for a weekend of sports, fun and family time. We're going to the Virginia Tech/Alabama game tomorrow night and Braves game on Sunday afternoon. Rah!
This is potentially the biggest football game anyone in my family will go to because all 72,000 seats are sold at the Georgia Dome. Even if football is not your favorite sport, it's hard not to be caught up in the excitement. That many people screaming and cheering and yelling is pretty awesome. I was lucky enough to go to the Rose Bowl a few years ago when it was the National Championship. Texas versus USC and of course Texas pulled it off. It was amazing.
So say a prayer that everyone travels safely from their various starting points. Pray that Dad doesn't decide to hide in the hotel room all weekend because of all the people in Atlanta. Pray that we can all have a wonderful time together!
