Today I participated in my first ever 5K for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Over 14,000 people participated and it was rainy and humid but I've never been prouder of myself.
Running was limited but we kept the pace up and did pretty well considering. My goal for next year is to run the whole thing. Actually there is one in February that I may try to do.
I'll never be a half-marathoner or anything over a 5K but it feels good to get it done.
