Eavesdropping

Preface: There is a web site I like to visit everyday called Woot. They run these great one day deals and sometimes I end up buying Christmas presents to stash or a 16G jump drive for $20. It's pretty awesome.

I was telling Mom and Dad about a recent purchase the other night over the phone.

Mom: I think that's a great present.

Me: Me too.

Dad: What's the name of that site?

Me: Woot.com.

Dad: Woot? Like W-O-O-T? What does that mean?

Me: It's like when you find a really good deal on something and you say, "Woot! That's awesome!"

Dad: I don't say that.

Me: I know and I don't expect you too.
