As I write this, I lay in my private room with my private bathroom at the big blue beach house overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
The nephews along with most everyone else in the family are on the beach. Mom, Dad and I are lounging around reading. Corrie is furiously working on her last revisions to her dissertation.
We've played, we've laughed, we've eaten (A LOT) and it reminds me again, how thankful I am for a family that I love to be with and who loves each other.
We're quirky. We get on each others nerves if we're confined together too long. We're not always patient.
But we always love each other more than any squabble we have or misspoken word that is said.
My family knows how to forgive and how to love.
It's the best lesson I've ever received.
