Fit as a fiddle

Do we see a theme to my blog titles yet this week? And I suppose this will be the week of all healthful posts since that is what's at the top of my mind. Lucky y'all.

{And one more note about the juice cleanse - if it makes me sick, I will stop. I'm no martyr. The past two days I've been prepping for it by eating lots of greens and fruits plus vegetable broth. I haven't had meat since Sunday and dairy since yesterday. So hopefully my system won't be too surprised.}

In the revitalization of Lori project currently going on, I'm working out more too. Again, it takes a lot of oomph for me not to go home after work and lay on the couch. But I feel better when I get my blood pumping and if I don't sweat, it's not a workout.

Cardio, strength training, Pilates, Zumba - you name it, it's on my schedule right now.

I'm also starting to toy with trying the Couch to 5K thing again. I still have visions of being a runner and possibly keeping up with brother and sister-in-law at some point. Wind in my hair, fleet of feet. Not limping along clutching my side.

We'll see.

One day at a time. And remember, if you don't sweat, it doesn't count.
