Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I've been doing my best to just keep up at this point. I'm very much looking forward to some time off at Thanksgiving. Even though I have no idea when I'll be headed home. We have so much work which is great because it means I have a job, but it also makes for precarious planning on my part.
I spent the weekend in Mississippi and it was fabulous. Isaiah is a trip! He talks all the time and every now and then you actually understand what he's saying. I took him a fire truck which he loved and it came with two little figures. I called them "people" the minute I took them out of the box so he called them "pee-ple" all weekend. He would lose one and ask, "Where pee-ple?"
Also, I rushed back yesterday in time for the homeowners meeting of my condo association. I was 15 minutes late, just long enough for my neighbor to nominate me for the board and be elected. Not only that, I was elected treasurer of the board. For heaven's sakes, like I don't have enough to do.
Another day, another dollar. Another ulcer.
