I love flowers. They just don't love me back.
Especially lilies. I've always had a love/hate relationship with the things. I think they're gorgeous. But they smell like crazy.
Last night, a group I sing in had a rehearsal at a local Episcopal church and as soon as I opened the front door, I smelled it. Lilies. Everywhere. The air was thick with it. There were arrangements on the wall (I think I counted eight), arrangements on the altar, a small arrangement on every table and then large potted ones placed around the church.
Oh my word it was terrible.
The church looked gorgeous but I'm supposed to be singing and I keep having sneezing fits. By the time the two-hour rehearsal was over, my head hurt so bad I thought it would split in two and I'm pretty sure I smelled like lilies.
So if I ever get married, no lilies. The pictures would be horrible.

This video is so making the rounds - I have yet to see the vocalist on You've Got Talent in England (or whatever). I've seen bits and pieces of it on the twice, but.....
