I'm currently sitting in the Charlotte airport pondering the amount of work that will be on my desk when I get back. It's a depressing thought but on the other hand, I try to be thankful that I have a desk and an office and more importantly a paycheck to go back to in Birmingham.
The week was fun. I only visited the beach once and before you're appalled, it was exactly what I wanted to do. I slept, I floated, I read, I ate and then repeated the process.
In fact I read six books this past week. Seven if you count then one I reread on the way the way last Sunday. But I'll save the book reviews for another day.
Why can't life be one big vacation?

Can't wait for the book reviews. Unfortunately one must have a job to experience a vacay. I am grateful as well....for the regular paycheck. (GAG!)
