Living in a condo as old as mine, there are many creaks and moans. And after living here for nine years I have gotten used to pretty much all of them.
And then came the new water heater. A new set of sounds all together. And I probably wouldn't care except it is directly outside of my bedroom in the utility closet.
Last night, I woke up and would have sworn someone was throwing something at my window. But no, just the water heater.
I'll get used to it soon but it's funny that it bothers me so much right now when my ceiling actually creaks like someone is walking on it.
