In the next two months:
I will go to Germany with the A Capella Alumni Choir over Thanksgiving.
I have one wedding to celebrate.
I have three Christmas concerts of music that I must learn.
Mom and Dad (Dad! Finally!) are coming to visit and to attend one.
I will go Christmas shopping and absorb the atmosphere (as Mom calls it).
I will get to spend some quality time in VA for the holidays.
Today I am thankful for so many things to look forward to in my life! I get so bogged down in the day to day drudgery of it all that I forget that life is fun! But it's only as fun as I allow it to be. I could stay home all the time and become a hermit but instead, I make plans with people I love.
So instead of focusing on the Christmas shopping you haven't begun, the work projects that are too many to count and the too busy calendar in front of you, what can you look forward to today?
