Let the marathon begin!

I've been waking up at 5 AM for the past month. Every morning. Even on the weekends. Except on the weekends I can roll over and go back to sleep.

On the weekdays, I keep thinking of my plan for the day. Which if you could see my to-do list you would understand why this is happening.

But today begins five days that I've been planning and prepping for over two months now. It's Samford homecoming and then on Sunday I fly to Raleigh for a client meeting.

I have a journalism advisory council meeting in the morning and then tomorrow afternoon I have to set-up for a party I planned for alums that evening. This is my schedule for Saturday:

9:00 AM Meeting
11:00 AM Wall of Fame Ceremony
12:00 PM Tailgating
1:00 PM Set-up for Party
2:30 PM Nap
5:15 PM Buy ice
5:30 PM Pick-up Food
5:45 PM Finish Set-up
6:30 PM Party Starts
9:30 PM Kick Everyone Out
9:35 PM Clean Up
10:30 PM Home

Then on Sunday I fly to Raleigh with four co-workers for a business meeting on Monday. Fly back to Birmingham on Tuesday and then I will try to recuperate and not get sick.

I am SO ready for Thanksgiving.
