Mom and I decided that this might have been one of the best Christmas' we've had. Between the five inches of snow we got on Christmas Day and spending time with all the family, I can't think of anything better.
Some of the highlights:
- Isaiah watching it snow. His excitement was contagious. He took 17 pictures of it snowing with his new camera before it even started to stick.
- Ezra and his trains. This boy loves Thomas and Mom and Dad gave the boys Thomas' roundhouse for Christmas. When Ezra saw the box, he couldn't stop talking about it. He kept saying "Poppa! Deet deet!" - which if you don't know is what the train says. He played and played with his new trains all day. Perfectly content.
- My Uncle Jay made us all DVDs of an evening in 1996 when he, my Uncle Ronald, my Dad and PaJoe sang at church. It was one year before PaJoe died. It's 15 minutes of gospel music and I think I've watched mine at least five times already. I miss my PaJoe but I'm so glad to have a piece of him that I can take to Alabama.

What a great gift in that DVD! Speaking of great gifts, my mom was pretty darn impressed with my framed quote you gifted to ME. :) Happy New Year - glad you get to celebrate at home this year!
