Ode to Electricity
You keep me warm, you keep me cool.
You make my food stay safe to eat.
Your light allows me to read to my heart's content.
And your surge allows the broadcast to enter my home.
The hot water you provide is a balm to my soul.
And a blessing to others that don't want to see me without a shower.
I will never take you for granted.
Electricity, I am thankful for you.
