My fall schedule is definitely back in full swing. I always thought when I reached adulthood that the seasons would become indiscriminate and seem to meld into one large year that just kept rolling through one after another.
But I was wrong. Summers definitely still have an easier pace (albeit a tad more hectic), fall is welcomed as a relief and winter is endured. Spring is a time for allergies and alas, some things will never change.
Today I am thankful that there are seasons - changes in temperature, changes in wardrobe, changes in atmosphere.
With things that seem to be changing for no reason and events that make no sense in the world, the change of the seasons is a reminder that change is good. Change brings newness. Change brings relief.
We were meant for change - positive change. And I'm thankful to be reminded of that every day.
