Keeping up

I apologize for the lack of blog posts recently.

First, I haven't been inspired to write anything. I get these flashes of ideas and then the more I think about it, the more I don't like it.

Second, work is crazy busy. No complaining but when you stare at a computer for hours upon hours, spending more time on it at home is not on my to-do list.

Third, life in general is busy! Here's what's going on with me at the moment:

Packing! I'm going to Germany a week from Friday for a trip with the A Capella Alumni Choir from Samford. The last time I went to Germany there were a few things different. They used Marks instead of Euros. It was summertime not winter. I was still a student. That was 12 years ago. And I still don't know any German.

Sewing! Yes I signed up for a sewing class. I roped Madelyn into taking it with me and tonight is my last class. All that's left is the hemming and the button holes. I'm pretty impressed with myself but honestly, threading the machine is the hardest part of the whole darn thing.

Rehearsing! I have three Christmas programs to learn this year as well as the concert for Germany. I can only hope when Christmas actually gets here I still have a voice.
