Thankful Thursday #15

(Unrelated note: I never remember what number I am on for Thankful Thursdays. Every week I have to look it up.)

This year my immediate family has gotten to know the medical community pretty well in Danville, Winston-Salem, Macon and even Morehead City, NC. We've been blessed for a long time with good health and a sharp decline in injury-inducing incidents (*cough*PAPA*cough*).

But 2011 has proved that good health is nothing to take for granted. Papa has dealt with some stomach issues, Isaiah broke his leg and Dad tweaked his knee and then had shoulder surgery. And yes he elected to do the shoulder surgery. He may be regretting it at this point.

But Papa is close to his previous self once again, Isaiah had the cast cut off yesterday and Dad, well, Dad may take awhile to be thankful.

But I for one am thankful for the doctors that have patched up my family. They all received stellar care from everyone involved. Their doctors, the nurses were awesome.

Thanks for getting us all in fighting shape again!
