I apologize for the lack of thankfulness the past two Thursdays. Which was pointed out to me. Repeatedly.
The first Thursday, I forgot it was Thursday. That was the kind of week THAT was.
Last week, I was traveling and trying to get home trumped any blog writing that day.
This week I'm weary. But I'm doing this anyway. Weary is beyond tired. Weary is heavy and much more mental than what comes with lack of sleep.
Case in point, I've slept more this past week than I have in the past month and I'm still exhausted.
There are many reasons I'm weary but I'm not even going to go into that here.
I do know that, to quote my Dad, "this too shall pass."
Bumps in the roads, weariness are all momentary. That moment may last longer than week or shorter than a day but it's not permanent.
Today I'm thankful for the promise that joy comes in the morning. Hopefully tomorrow morning.
