My iPhone died this week.
And that shouldn't be a big deal but I have become that person that is always attached to her cell phone. Also, I don't have a home phone anymore so when the iPhone started having issues, I couldn't ignore it. I dream of unplugging one day from everything completely - no wires, no wireless, no Internet. I want to do that.
But not this week. I'm in Atlanta for a meeting and what if I broke down on the way? And I actually like talking to my family so I'd like to call them.
So I schlepped myself over the AT&T store prepared for a huge expense I hadn't planned, and God smiled upon me!
My old phone, while not functioning, was able to be sold back to the store for a $170 credit because it was in such good shape! I applied this to my new phone (which is faster, better, prettier) and the financial blow was not so hard to take.
I'm thankful today for upgrades, credits and a little thing called Siri. Yes, my phone now talks to me. And she is lovely.
