I just have inconveniences. Helps with perspective doesn't it?
I got home from my grand tour of the United States (Birmingham to St. Louis to Tulsa to Dallas to Birmingham to Charlotte to Richmond to Charlotte to Birmingham) last night to find that my car battery was dead. Thankfully, the Birmingham Airport Authority will jump your car for free and they were there within five minutes of calling. I even tried to tip the guy and he wouldn't take it.
He also informed me that the battery sounded weak so I better get a new one right away. Which I did. I stopped on my way home, got a new battery and now all is well in the world of my car.
See? Not a problem. Just an inconvenience.
Now today I have the day off and with my long weekend I plan on not working at all and possibly not leaving my condo. The last one is probably not going to happen but that's okay. I'm home! And that's all that matters.
