Portland, Day One

I got to Powell's today! It was amazing. Heaven on earth. I only spent about an hour in the store but I could have stayed all day. It's the largest independent bookstore in the United States because it takes up one whole city block. The place is even divided into rooms so you can find something specific. Or wander like I did. I am proud of my restraint. I spent under $50 which is minimal for me. I have pictures and I'll load them later.

I also just finished the ghost tour which was a little bit disappointing. Interesting on the historical side but nothing blew in my ear. Although I will say thankfully not even the drunk guy that started to get a little to close near one place. The most haunted places of Portland happen to be the crazy nightclubs. Interesting how that coincides.

It's been a long day but fun. I'll write more tomorrow and hopefully get the pictures up.
