Westward Ho!

On Thursday, I'm headed to Portland, OR for a work conference and I am very excited. It's nice to have a trip that is new to me. I haven't spent much time in the Pacific Northwest but the time I have has been lovely.

I just talked to Mr. Smith and he gave me the first spot I'm going to hit once I land in Portland - Powell Books. I think this just might be my version of heaven. They don't just have sections of books - they have rooms! How fabulous.

I'm also taking a Beyond Bizarre walking tour of Portland. It's a ghost hunting expedition and we get ghost hunting equipment and everything.

I'll make sure and take pictures and keep you posted on my trip. And I'll also try not to spend too much money in the bookstore. Try being the operative word.
