I am not thankful for pollen, whirligigs in the air and everything else that is floating around making my allergies go haywire this year. Yesterday I felt like there was a little tiny man with a little tiny pick ax standing behind my eyeballs having a go at them.
But it is raining. Sweet, blessed, refreshing, wet rain. I fully expect to see rivulets of green and yellow as I go to my car this evening. And I'm totally okay with that.
Perhaps I'll even be able to touch my car without fearing I will ruin my clothes.
And last night for dinner I had a piping hot bowl of hot & sour soup along with an egg roll smothered in hot mustard. I could actually breathe after that dinner. Give it a go sometime. It works!
So while I love the green of spring, the breathing it all in leaves me in fits of sneezes and snorts. Today I am thankful for downpours and home remedies. They definitely have made a huge difference in my quality of life.
