The New Depression Movie Watch

Since according to our oh so accurate mainstream media we are THIS close to another Great Depression, I thought it appropriate to make a list of my all-time favorite Depression era movies. Because at this point, I don't think anything will make me feel better more than seeing people worse off than me.

• Annie - It's a hard knock life for reals.
• It's a Wonderful Life.
• Bonnie and Clyde - At least I don't have to rob banks.
• O Brother, Where Art Thou? - If all else fails, I'll learn guitar.
• The Grapes of Wrath.
• The Journey of Natty Gann - A girl and her dad and her wolf and John Cusack. Throw in a can of beans and it's perfect.
• Cinderella Man - Fantastic movie if you haven't seen it.
