I once traveled quite a bit. Specifically for meetings and those were hard. I'd fly up one day and back the next which is never a fun way to travel.
But it was necessary.
Necessary no more!
Technology has come so far just in the short amount of time I've been a working adult. I can now have meetings with clients and share computer screens so we can make presentations and see each other through video calls.
I'm still very much in a service industry and face time is important. But the fact that we can be so productive while being far a part is amazing to me.
I'm thankful for Skype, WebEx, Lync and all the other communication tools I have at my fingertips to make work so much easier.
And pretty dadgum cool too. Sometimes I feel like I'm in a science fiction movie.
