I am a blogger in the loosest sense of the term. There are people that blog for a living. Every word they write, every hit they have and post that is viewed means cash in their pocket.
There are others that blog because they want the world to know their thoughts and feelings.
I do neither of these things. I blog because I like to write. I have a jumble of words and ideas that bump around in my head until I can get them down in written form. Either on the blog or in my journal or notebooks I keep stashed in my purse.
There is a lot of scribbling in my life.
Sometimes I get an idea, and it writes itself. It takes no work at all. The words are at the ready and my thoughts are easily transcribed. BAM! It's done.
Other times I will work on a blog for days or weeks before I think it's anything worth even posting. Right now I have three drafts in the queue that I work on as I have inspiration.
More often than not I start a post and then delete the thing before I even finish. I don't like the topic. I don't like how it reads. I don't think it sounds like me. I don't think any one cares.
You may be asking what category this post falls under and I would say in the last category of procrastination. Procrastinating from working on better ideas. Procrastinating from things that need immediate attention.
Yep, that one.
