I went to see an amazing movie on Saturday night. It had heart. It had soul. It had pain. It had love. It had loss.
It was the perfect story.
And no one spoke until the last thirty seconds of the movie. It was a silent movie.
I did have that moment where I wondered why on earth I paid to see a silent movie in 2012. But it didn't last long.
Seeing "The Artist" was probably the most fulfilling movie experience I've had in a long time. It was beautiful. The costumes, the acting, the emotion. It was a combination of "Singin' in the Rain" with a little "Sunset Boulevard" and "A Star is Born" thrown into the mix.
Take a chance on this movie and I promise you'll love it.
